What To Expect at Your First LGBT Family Building Consult
During your initial LGBT family building consultation, you will meet Dr. Mark Leondires, GayParentsToBe's Medical Director. That meeting can either be in-person or via Skype, whichever you prefer. During this conversation, Dr. Leondires hopes to learn more about you and your family building goals, as well as answering questions about our program, in order to develop a treatment plan that best suits you.
Some common questions Dr. Leondires will cover are:
- Where do I find a surrogate?
- How do I look for a donor?
- Is there a reproductive attorney that I can trust?
- Who will carry the baby OR am I fertile?
- What will the medical process involve?
- Where can I go for psychological and emotional support?
As a dad with two kids through surrogacy, Dr. Leondires is proud to share his expertise and insights with the LGBT community. He has a unique point of view of a doctor and a parent-to-be.
The GayParentsToBe team is on the road again – this time in southern Florida!
